Lecture Series Fine Arts – Lucy Beech

Lucy Beech is an artist whose practice revolves around collaboration and encompasses filmmaking, choreography, research, and writing. Recent works have explored themes such as intimacy, infrastructure, and contemporary understandings of the ways in which bodies and technologies mutually shape one another. Beech recently completed a fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, Berlin (2019–2022).

Since 2007 Beech has collaborated with Edward Thomasson on performance and video works that have been presented amongst others at Tate Britain, UK;  South London Gallery, London, UK; Maureen Paley London, UK; The Barbican Theatre, London, UK and The Camden Arts Center UK.
