Start it up! Health 2024 start-up weekend

From 22-24.11.2024, the Integrated Health Campus, in cooperation with BRIDGE - Gründen aus Bremer Hochschulen, is launching the challenge to find business models and solutions for current issues and challenges in the field of care and health - with participants, students and doctoral candidates from various universities and degree programs and with the help of design thinking methods. In under 60 hours, the participants work in teams to develop business models and solutions from the initial idea to the final pitch.
The Start it up! Health start-up weekend in a nutshell
- You pitch the challenges and topics you want to address during the weekend - or you listen to the pitches of others.
- You come together in an interdisciplinary team.
- You learn methods from design thinking and apply them to your ideas.
- Together you will work on business models to address the challenges and topics from the pitches.
- You will receive support from experienced coaches.
- At the end, a jury will select the best teams - prize money included.
You have nothing to do with health and care?
Great! That doesn't matter at all! The broader the professional perspectives on the topics, the better. Strong teams can be built from diverse individuals with different strengths!
And, no prior knowledge is necessary: You will learn approaches and methods from Design Thinking during the weekend and can then transfer them to any subject area with ease. Be it a start-up or business idea, the conception of a project or, or, or...

Target group
The event is open to all interested parties!
As this is also a course at universities in the state of Bremen, students and doctoral candidates at universities in Bremen have priority.
