Jazz (M.M., KPA)
The degree programme KPA Master in Jazz aims to consolidate and deepen the fundamentals acquired in the Bachelor. Musical skills as well as teaching skills also have to be expanded and developed. The teaching focuses on special methods and techniques for teaching jazz, with particular attention to improvisation and ensemble playing in all important jazz styles. The aim is to prepare students as best as possible for work as music educators in the field, to support them individually and to optimise their teaching skills.
Lecturers
The lecturers in the field of music are renowned musicians who perform in concert halls around the world. A close and co-operative exchange between students and teachers is of central importance in the field of music.
