Natural Trumpet

The HfK Bremen offers the opportunity to study Natural Trumpet as a bachelor's or master's degree as part of a well-established Early Music department with many opportunities for chamber music and orchestral projects. Students are supported in developing consistent and efficient technical competency. The focus of the training is on a deep understanding of the Baroque style and rhetorical playing of solo, chamber and orchestral repertoire. Bremen also offers a rich cultural heritage and diverse performance opportunities.

Trumpeters in the courses at Contemporary Music have the opportunity to learn the natural trumpet as a second instrument. Students can expect to be prepared for their careers at the end of their studies. Not only will they graduate with profound technical and musical skills and a broad knowledge of the repertoire, but they also will be capable of leading an ensemble.
