Eine flexible Frau (The Drifter)
Film screening and E-Book-Presentation with Janine Sack (Berlin)
Eine flexible Frau (The Drifter, 2010) is Tatjana Turanskyj’s acclaimed feature film about precarious working conditions, self-promotion demands in the creative world of work and feminist aberrations in postmodern capitalism. Turanskyj also documents the sale out and gentrification of Berlin after German reunification, a city once described as poor, but sexy. With the e-book Eine flexible Frau: Drehbuch und Materialien (EECLECTIC, 2022) Jan Ahlrichs and Janine Sack published for the first time the script of the film which figures not only as material and working basis, but also represents its own form. Next to the screening of Eine flexible Frau (OV with English subtitles, 97 min) the event discusses the multimedia possibilities of digital book formats in relation to making accessible the tought, research and production processes conducted by contemporary filmmakers.
