As part of the Breminale 2024, the HfK is presenting its own programme from the repertoire of students from the Department of Music and the Department of Art and Design. On the MS Dauerwelle, a total of 16 concerts will present a musical mix of classical music, jazz, R&B, hip-hop, pop, house and techno.
The musicians will perform in two stage settings developed by Robert Coellen and Janusz Kendel. From the glittering silver sun deck of the MS Dauerwelle, they will play towards the jetty and promenade. The theme of swaying waves is taken up in the interior of the ship with atmospheric lighting. The ship's typical ambience is transformed into an intimate club setting.
