Long Night of Bremen Museums 2025: Animated film, handmade and digital

People, among them children, are working on a stop-motion animation project. They create characters and backgrounds from paper and other materials, take photos with cameras, and animate scenes on computers.

Opening hours

6 - 10 pm

Animated film, handmade and digital:
By students, artists, school-avoiders, Blaumeier artists, refugees, illiterates, teenagers and the Africa Network.
Painted, drawn, made of plasticine, sand, metal or wood, moving images are created - dreamy, frightening, everyday scenes.


The event was put together by Ulrike Isenberg and presented with Heike Kati Barath. A fascinating insight into the world of animation!
