Bewerbungsfrist: 15.2.2022

The competition D-bü (neologism referring to the German pronunciation of the word „debut“), is a competition for new, unusual and innovative performance formats. Eight of the submitted projects will be presented in Trossingen from May 23-28, 2022.

Topics such as innovation and originality as well as any form of extraordinary music projects are in the spotlight: e.g. spatial concepts, music mediation, IT interfaces, staged performances. Advanced, innovative and interdisciplinary projects from music and KuD are in demand, especially from cooperations between both departments.

Three applications for the competition as well as one student jury member can be suggested by the HfK until February 15, 2022.

The HfK internal application deadline for the pre-selection of applications for the competition and the student jury member is January 17, 2022.
