First prize at the national “Jugend musiziert” competition for Alina Kober

Alina Kober was awarded first prize in the piano duo category at this year's national “Jugend musiziert“ competition. She took part in the highest age group with her duo partner Asuka Kodama (Privat-Institut Almut Cordes); the competition took place in Lübeck during Whitsun week this year. The “Jugend musiziert“ competition is one of the most prestigious competitions for talented young musicians. It is first held at regional level, then at state level and finally at national level.

It is Alina Kober's third national prize after 2018 and 2021.

Alina Kober is 19 years old. She studied for five years at the HfK Bremen in the piano class of Almut Cordes and has just completed her studies in the young students programme in Bremen.

This summer semester, she began studying piano at the Rostock University of Music and Drama.
