H. A. Bockmeyer Travel Grant 2022

The H. A. Bockmeyer Travel Grant financially supports travel projects of students and alumni in the Fine Arts, Integrated Design and Digital Media programmes of HfK Bremen.

Students and Alumnae not older than 30 years old and with adequate transcripts of study records are eligible. In addition for Alumnae, the last degree should not be older than 3 years.

The amount of the travel grant is 3.000€.

In addition to the monetary grant, which will be disbursed at the beginning of respective travels, the awardee will exhibit the artistic and/or design results of their travel project at the gallery of HfK Bremen. This year, concepts for an artistic travel project in and around Bremen can be submitted. But concepts for other regions that take the current pandemic situation into account can also be submitted.

To apply, please submit the following documents:

• CV in regard to your artistic career, stating your Study Programm and whether if you are still a student (please state your student id number) or already an Alumnae (please state the date of graduation) (as PDF)
• Description of proposed travel project (3000 – 4000 characters, 1 page max. as PDF)
• Portfolio of artistic work samples (texts/images as one PDF in total, other file formats for film and audio files are possible)
• If
  an application is submitted in English, please provide a
  summary/description of your proposed travel project in German (1000 –
  1500 characters as PDF). If you feel that you would like to have support
  with this task, please reach out to Language Assistance who can help
  you with translating your project description into German (language_assistance@hfk-bremen.de).
