Meisterschüler*innen graduates of the year 2019 and HfK Alumni/ae receive scholarships

The Meisterschüler*innen Irene Strese (Meisterschülerin of fine arts with Prof. Andre Korpys and Prof. Markus Löffler) and Hassan Sheidaei (Meisterschüler of fine arts with Prof. Markus Löffler, Prof. Andree Korpys and Prof. Ingo Vetter) of last year's cohort receive a scholarship for visual artists from the Stiftung Kunstfonds in Bonn.
From a total of 4752 applications, 581 grants were approved. Within the framework of the aid package NEUSTART KULTUR initiated by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, the Stiftung Kunstfonds announces the special support program 20/21 in addition to its current support programs.
The program is aimed at visual artists, art education institutions, as well as actors and initiatives in the art world. The special support program 20/21 offers three application options: a scholarship for visual artists with children under 7 years of age, a project support for art mediators and a scholarship for visual artists. The scholarship for visual artists is aimed at freelance, solo self-employed visual artists living permanently in Germany. They receive a biannual grant of 9,000 euros.
