- Illustration Générale The HfK illustration department continues with the mega-successful Illustration Générale model this semester. By registering for the Gestaterische Praxis Block A and Open Topic courses in illustration, you become part of the illustration studio (class) and are offered four options: 5. To work with assignments connected this semester’s theme 6. To work with extra curricular illustration activities 7. A supervised free project 8. A little mix of it all This semester’s theme is Heta-Uma, a Japanese tradition created in the early 70’s, which means to draw bad on purpose.
