Clarinet
At the University of the Arts Bremen you can study clarinet as a major subject in the artistic training (KA) or artistic-pedagogical training (KPA) courses. The clarinet studies include solo and chamber music repertoire as well as all relevant orchestral positions (orchestral studies/audition training). The training promotes confident playing technique, interpretation and performance skills as well as the tonal development and personal design of musical works. In addition to the main subject lessons, all secondary instruments in the clarinet family (from the E-flat clarinet to the double bass clarinet) can be learned. The study of the classical saxophone is also offered.
Overall, studying clarinet at the HfK Bremen enables students to receive a comprehensive and varied education. It prepares them for a solo career as well as for work in ensembles and orchestras and promotes their artistic development and expressiveness.
