Trumpet

The modern, versatile approach to trumpet playing taught at the HfK Bremen is ideal for students who want to exploit their full potential. In individual lessons, the focus is on the basics, breathing and the solo repertoire as well as audition preparation. Playing with trumpet ensembles, large brass ensembles and orchestral excerpts is intensively encouraged. Students are also encouraged to develop their chamber music skills in an orchestral setting.

A holistic approach to trumpet playing is pursued, which also focuses on mentality and visualisation training in order to prepare students for the modern, often freelance working world.
