Flute

Flute as a major can be studied at the HfK Bremen in the artistic (KA) or artistic-pedagogical courses (KPA). A central importance in the study programme overall is the development of the flute repertoire in its breath for soloists, supplemented by chamber music and orchestral repertoires. Individual and systematic work with students is intended to sustainably develop their personal ideas and qualities. Body awareness, confident instrumental skills, interpretive engagement and artistic charisma should contribute to being able to realise one's own professional path. In addition to the main subject lessons, orchestral studies/audition training, accompaniment, specialist methodology and piccolo lessons are offered. The flute class can be heard in at least two public concerts per semester at the university.
