Jazz (Young Students)

The programme for young students at the University of the Arts Bremen provides attendees with the opportunity to study jazz music intensively in addition to attending school and to prepare for possible studies in this area. All instruments that can be studied in the jazz area are available, namely saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano/keyboard, drums/percussion, vibraphone, double bass, electric bass, guitar, electric guitar, vocals and flute. The practical training on the instrument or singing is completed and sistered by lessons in jazz theory and ear training.

The lecturers in the field of music are renowned musicians who perform in concert halls around the world. A close and co-operative exchange between students and teachers is of central importance in the field of music.
