The aim of the degree programme Master in Singing is, beyond the perfection of the voice, an intensive and specialised examination of singing-specific genres and fields of work. In addition to the expansion of a wide-ranging repertoire of songs, concerts and opera, which complements the main subject, particularly in accompaniment lessons, there are a number of opportunities to gain in-depth artistic and practical experience, especially in the performing area. Scenic projects and opera productions take place regularly, with master's students preferably taking part. An in-depth module enables an artistic focus in the elective areas of historical performance practice, new music, song creation, opera repertoire and choir. Project-accompanying scientific or theoretical seminars aim at an informed and thoughtful artistic practice. A diverse elective area with additional offerings complements the course.
