Recorder
The artistic-pedagocial (KPA) study programme recorder provides in-depth knowledge in all areas of playing technique, stylistics and interpretation. Your own musical expression will be deepened and advanced. In addition to individual artistic lessons, there is a particular emphasis on ensemble playing and chamber music. The HfK Bremen inventory contains a large collection of (handmade) instruments that can be played or borrowed: several consorts and 440/415hz instruments from sopranino to bass. A wide range of skills are taught in current areas of teaching practice and effective strategies for dealing with various working and practice methods as well as teaching materials. The areas of KPA and Early Music are intensively networked through consort playing, chamber music, joint classes in evenings and the annual “Bremen Recorder Day”, where logistical, artistic and pedagogical skills are linked and brought into the context of music education.
