Trumpet (Jazz)

The HfK Bremen programme Jazz Trumpet is aimed at students who want to prepare for professional careers or further studies in the areas of jazz, pop, rock, fusion, funk, new improvised music and other musical genres. The trumpet training is enriched by the inclusion of international guest lecturers who are known for their expertise in different musical styles. In addition, all trumpet students receive two years of classical training in parallel. The programme also offers a variety of opportunities to gain practical experience in concerts, jam sessions and studio productions at our jazz club. Students also have access to state-of-the-art equipment, including recording technology, well-equipped rehearsal rooms, a big band and many combos to perfect their skills.
