Guitar/E-Guitar
In connection with the development of a jazz repertoire, various forms of improvisation as well as the tonal and technical possibilities of the modern jazz guitar are explored and independent creative paths are sought. The visualisation of scales, chords and arpeggios on the fretboard as well as the development of extensive rhythmic and stylistic flexibility are of central importance for the development of solid guitar technique.
The intuitive and creative handling of these elements as well as their musical and rhythmic application are of central importance in jazz and in improvised music in general and are therefore important aspects of the studies. The interaction in the band context as well as the development of improvisational and compositional forms of expression play an important role. With such a range of concerns, the study programme over all promotes the development of independent musical personalities.
