Applying for the study programme Early Music (Continuing Education)

Studying music at the University of the Arts Bremen is distinguished by an intense support and education on the individual level in an atmosphere that is highly personal and open. 

Continuing studies at the Faculty of Music are part of the offerings for continuing, artistic education in major subjects at the HfK that are open to students as well as working musicians for a fee (950 euros per semester).

This offer is also open to current students wishing to expand their education into another major.

An application for admission to continuing studies in the Faculty of Music at the University of the Arts can be submitted by September 15th. The postgraduate course regularly begins in the winter semester on October 1st each year. It comprises two semesters (one academic year) with a teaching load of approx. 15 hours each. Admission is subject to availability.

Please note that proof of German language skills is a mandatory enrolment requirement. Foreign applicants to study at the University of the Arts must prove that they have a good knowledge of the German language in oral and written communication.
