Applying for the study programme Digital Media (M.A.)
The Master's programme Digital Media is a joint offer from the University of the Arts Bremen and the University of Bremen. Located between the fields, the media design courses at the HfK Bremen and the media informatics courses at the University of Bremen receive impulses from the arts, design, theory and new technologies.
Application
The application period for the winter semester 2025/26 is from April 1st to May 31st, 2025.
Applicants for the study programme Digital Media Master/Major in Media Design can do so during the application period via the application portal of the HfK Bremen.
We will then inform you via email about the next steps and the dates in the application process.
General advice on the application
All required documents must be uploaded to the application portal. This means you may need to scan some paper documents first. Please make sure that the scans are easy to read, but do not have a file size that is too large. A resolution of 100–150 dpi is sufficient. All documents must be in PDF format. The total size of all your documents to be uploaded cannot exceed 50 MB. This includes all documents listed below, except your portfolio, which can be uploaded or submitted via a link (see below). Make it easy for the admissions committee to review your documents. Structure your portfolio well. As is often the case: less is more here.
