- Erste Hilfe Pt. 1 As part of this seminar, we will develop a "First Aid" guide for the entrance exam at the University of the Arts – both through the support and organization of the exam and through the creation of an accompanying publication. With the aim of providing other students with assistance in choosing their course of study, we will first address fundamental questions. How is the HfK shaped as a microcosm of students in relation to the city as a space of possibilities? We want to explore the context of the Überseestadt district, one of Europe's largest urban development projects and a contested marketing project of the city of Bremen. What interactions arise between art, the city, and its appropriation? This year, we want to move outside the HfK as often as possible and think about the city. What could an alternative city map look like? What places play an important role for you? Using analog tools like scissors, glue, paper, Xeroxing, and copy paste, we will work with the photocopier and use composition exercises to develop layouts for a publication. In the end, a collaborative zine will be created, which will be duplicated using the Risograph. Additionally, we will take care of a wayfinding system for the entrance exam and manage the First Aid social media channel.
