Digital Media (B.A.)
The Bachelor programme Digital Media is a joint offer from the University of the Arts Bremen and the University of Bremen. Located between the fields, the media design courses at the HfK Bremen and the media informatics courses at the University of Bremen receive impulses from the arts, design, theory and new technologies.
The aim of the artistic-scientific study programme at the HfK Bremen is to train designers who cultivate an experimental-artistic as well as a function-oriented, applied approach to new technologies, can reflect on these technologies and their interrelationships and understand how to deal with them and through this to articulate their expertise creatively. In addition to the communicative possibilities and expression of new technologies, their cultural, social, historical and ethical conditions are also included in the study projects. In this environment, responsible designers are developing who will help shape the prospects of our technological future.
