Studies in Bremen
The Hanseatic city is a cosmopolitan, but at the same time cosy and traditional city on the river, characterised by northern German serenity, short distances, lots of greenery and a lively cultural scene. On the one hand, life in Bremen is like living in a vibrant big city – on the other hand, it is a "village with a tram", as locals sometimes say. Over 37,000 students are currently enrolled at Bremen's four public and five private universities.
We try to give you a small impression of Bremen's diversity and at the same time provide some practical tips.
