Singing (Jazz)

The HfK Bremen offers a comprehensive programme for Jazz Singing, which includes both basic techniques and advanced musical styles. In addition, students learn how to lead a band, how to improvise and, as jazz singers, meet the stylistic demands that they face as soloists and as background singers. The training includes numerous opportunities to gain practical experience in the jazz business, including performances at concerts, jam sessions and studio productions, starting with our own jazz club. In addition, modern equipment such as recording technology, rehearsal rooms as well as a big band and many combos offer excellent conditions for students to perfect their skills and succeed in different areas of the music industry.
